What major MOBA are you playing right now?

I’m down with Heroes of the Storm “MOBA” is often a bad word/phrase in video game circles. As a fan of them since 2005 I kind of just shrug it off though — this genre is here, and it’s popular, guys. Embrace it or don’t play it! My MOBA history has been pretty straight-forward. I dabble in just about everything to see if I’ll enjoy it (much like MMOs), but my “main” games have been the originalDOTA, thenLeague, and now,Heroes of the Storm....

Yeah, so that Tears to Tiara II review…

… PS3 RPGTears to Tiara IIcame out…yesterday. So, where is the review? [cringe] That’s my fault. It’s busy season here at Destructoid, so I’m wrapped up with multiple reviews as of late. It’s nowhere near Chris Carter’s work level, mind you. But between running this site and getting my review load done, I’mwaybehind. I’ve been playingTears to Tiara IIfor about a week now, but that’s not nearly enough time to finish this super lengthy visual novel / strategy RPG....

Zone of the Enders HD comes next month in two flavors

Tonight, Konami pimped their release date forZone of the Enders HD Collectionin North America, along with a little added surprise. You’ll be able to pick up the game on October 30th, either in its standard edition or — in a bold move — a collector’s edition. I say “bold” because I think it takes a phenomenal amount of testicular gumption to push a Collector’s Edition of an HD remake for a pair of games which don’t actually seem all that popular....

An Alien: Isolation sequel has finally been announced from Creative Assembly

Get ready for your screams to once again not be heard in space, Creative Assemblyhas announcedthat they’re working on a sequel to 2014’sAlien: Isolation. Not a whole lot has been said beyond that. This is rather surprising since the possibility of a sequel was previously said to be unlikely due to the “poor sales” of the original. When I say “poor sales,” I want to stress those quotation marks since it reportedly sold 2....

Bloggers Wanted: Fake it until you make it

I have no idea what I’m doing This month’s bloggers wanted prompt is something we stole. You see, by stealing this idea, you have no idea how truly inept I actually am. By pretending to know what I’m doing, I have clearly used my ill-gotten status to meet such big-time celebrities as Darlington Woolie “Pie Stealer” Madden or Sara from [insert pixel indie game studio here]. This month’s bloggers wanted was inspired by the internal enjoyment we had at reading TheBlondeBass’promoted blogon faking conversational anime knowledge....
