Now, like several publishersin regards to the mystery of PS5 backward compatibility, it wasn’t exactly clear what that meant....

Ubisoft isn’t the only publisher that’simplementing a program similarto Electronic Arts and theirEA Sports Online Pass. According to sports gaming blogPastapadre, THQ is beating EA to the punch by two weeks.Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, which launches on June 8th, will be the first EA Sports game under the EA Sports Online Pass. But THQ’sUFC Undisputed 2010, due out next Tuesday, May 25th, will also come with a one-time-use code on the back of the game’s instruction manual, and players will need to type in the code if they want to play the game online (as you can see above)....

BIT.TRIP BEAT(Aksys Games, 1-4 players, Rated E for Everyone, 600 Wii Points)is a rhythm-matching game on WiiWare which has players bouncing out beats with the motion controls with the Wii remote. It’s described as having a retro feel to it, with a chiptune soundtrack and old-school visuals. Sounds like something which appeals to my interests. The new DLC forDead Island,Bloodbath Arena, will be out November 22 and will feature four arenas to play alone or in four player co-op. Waves of zombies will throw themselves at you and your friends to kill for XP, items and gold that will transfer back to your main game. In addition there will be leaderboards, so you may compare your zombie killing prowess to that of other gamers. Anyone who pre-ordered the special edition from Game Stop will be able to get the DLC for free, everyone else will have to pay $9....

Althoughthe trailer debuted earlier today, Konami hasjust dropped a website forLords of Shadow 2, giving us some introductory info on the game’s story, as well as some concept art, screenshots of the trailer, and a few MercurySteam development action shots. The website is also a decent hub for anythingLords of Shadowrelated, as it gives links to the developmental Twitter and Facebook feeds. Overall I quite liked the original game, as it was fairly challenging even on normal, and had a pretty in-depth combat system....

But the setup likely won’t be as open After a lot of teasing Bandai Namco has pulled back the curtain onCode Vein(which is coming to “major home consoles” next year) and given us a full two minute gameplay trailer. For those of you who think this is aSouls-like joint, you should probably keep your expectations in check. Bandai Namco publishes a ton of different games, and since this is helmed by theGod Eaterteam it’s likely to be more in that style....
