This game will be my undoing I’ve spent a few hours withStardew Valley‘s online co-op mode and, just like that, I’m one-hundred percent back into the farmer life. I can’t stress how weird and wonderful it is to see another player running around Pelican Town after you’ve spent dozens upon dozens of hours playing alone. It’s an altogether different vibe, and your daily chores sure go by a lot quicker with extra helping hands....

A step up from the mobile version TheElder Scrolls: Bladeswasn’t exactly the great free-to-play experience I was hoping it would be when Itested out the game in early accessback in April. It had potential with a beautiful world and a fluid combat system. But the repetitive nature of the dungeon crawling quests was a real kick to the giblets. Control problems compounded the issue, however those have mostly been fixed through updates to the app....

The Souls of Souls This is it. This is the last time we’re talking aboutDark Souls. This decade. Got ya! What can be said aboutSoulsthat hasn’t been said already? Pretty much everyone is using it as cringeworthy lexicon (I try to avoid it!) to describe any rewarding gameplay loop: thus is the power ofSouls. Although 2009’sDemon’s Soulsdid a fantastic job of rekindling (ha) the spirit of From Software’sKing’s Fieldseries, it was the originalDark Soulsthat really took that formula off of the mean streets of Boletaria and into the collective zeitgeist....
