As for the suddenly-released Gamertags, they’re coming from accounts that have been inactive for alongtime. Xbox has compiled a list of accounts that were never migrated from the original Xbox to the Xbox 360. That means they’ve been sitting unused for more than 10 years. What’s neat about that is it’s those early adopters who likely have some of the most coveted Gamertags because they claimed them first.
Let us know come Wednesday if you’re the new LukeSkywalker or CaptainKirk. Steven’s gunning forKanye, and nothing would make me happier than if one of you got to it before him.
