Square Enix showed offWorld of Final Fantasyat its press conference. It waspreviously announcedfor PS4 and Vita at Sony’s last night.
It takes place in a “completely new universe” than otherFinal Fantasygames, though it’s very muchFinal Fantasy, meant to be a, “game where small children can play with family.” Your typical, “simple, but deep experience” junk. Maybe the brother and sister protagonists (with monster buddies) should’ve been a good clue.
Its director explained it is meant to be like “diving into a world of toys,” which just makes it feel like Square Enix missed their chance to make amiibo-likes.
