It’d be easier to progress through the ranks inStarfieldif some kind of XP farm existed — so let’s talk about Schrodinger III.
Leveling up inStarfieldis, admittedly, kind of a chore. I’ve plugged away more than five dozen hours, but I’m still running around as a mid-30s space explorer. Why do some missions give you 150 XP? That’s barely a drop in the bucket. But I digress. Last week, a Reddit user made one hell of a discovery. “Schrodinger III is made of XP,” readsthe title of Canatee’s post. And indeed, they brought receipts. After touching down on the planet, Canatee hopped up on their ship and started taking potshots at the impressive numbers of animals nearby. Experience points began flowing like wine in France, and Canatee’s level increased. So of course you now want to do it, too. I mean, I certainly did.

Schrodinger III – Location of theStarfieldXP farm
Schrodinger III is located in the Schrodinger star system. you’re able to find it near Kryx, where the space pirates love to roam. Schrodinger is a level-65 star system, but don’t you worry: You aren’t barred from entering star systems that are higher level than you. Keep in mind that there could be some nasty beasts beyond what you can handle.
Schrodinger III works as an XP farm for two reasons: The star system level and the sheer amount of high-level fauna. Follow these steps to best take advantage of the planet:

The best animals to attack are the Swarming Foxbats. They kind of look like what would happen if you crossbred a cat with a raptor. Foxbats are aggressive, so shooting one will often cause a nearby herd to hunt you down. And that makes easy pickings. Avoid the flyers.
For weaponry, I suggest something that hits hard. Canatee was rockingthe Hard Target .50-caliber sniper rifle. But I was doing well with my customized Justifier I got from theFreestar Collective questline.

The higher the level of the animal, the more XP you get. I was making around 115 XP for most animals around level 65, and that seemed like more than enough.
Once you clear an area of targets, jump back into your ship and move to the next. With this method, I was able to level up three times in about 20 minutes. Of course, gameplay purists may balk at farming XP. But man, I’m a little tired of flying a class A ship. I’m ready to upgrade, and I don’t feel like waiting anymore. Dish out that XP, you weird cat monster.
