This morning, I logged on to my PC and opened upMarvel Snapon Steam for what feels like the nine millionth time since it launched in 2022, and something dawned on me.

This game has become a part of my daily routine. But, it’s also a game that I open up whenever I look at my library of unplayed titles, an ever-growing backlog, and get stressed out deciding what to play next.Marvel Snapis just always there for me to play, so I keep going back to it.

In reality, there’s always something new and different to play, but there’s at least one game that all of us undoubtedly have that we return to no matter what. Whether it be because it’s a “safe” game for us to pick up and play at any time, or it’s a comfort game that brings you joy when you don’t know what to play next from the backlog, or a game that’s constantly getting new updates as a live service title.

Marvel Snapis just one of these games for me. Others includeOverwatch 2, Marvel Rivals, andDestiny 2. But my list also includes single-player classics likeMetal Gear SolidorFinal Fantasy VIII, and relaxing games likeBackpack Battlesthat I open up when I want to give my brain a break.

And so, I’m curious. I now ask you, Destructoid reader, what’s the one game you keep coming back to no matter what? Answer our poll and let us know in the comments below.
