Sega calls Samurai BloodShow a “comically vicious action tower defense game.” All of those words speak to me. But they left out the card aspect.

This game isnotafraid to be nerdy, and I love it for that.Samurai BloodShowhas you on the battlefield of twelfth-century feudal Japan, doing the tower defense using decks of cards to build an armies to battle across 100 levels. Winning battles lets you earn new cards to put in your decks. If you want the easy way out you can also get these cards through In-App purchases. Cheaters.

Aside from solo play, there’s also Bluetooth and Game Center versus battle support. It’s available today for iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone.

The screenshots look interesting. It certainly looks worth my $1.99. I’ll try it out and let you know what I think.
