“Fly on a Dog” off of the upcoming History Repeating: Red
This past June, after a four-year spell,Mega Mancover band The Megas finallyunleashedthe official follow-up to their debut album. WhereasGet Equippedwas based onMega Man 2,History Repeating: Bluewas naturally based onMega Man 3. But as the subtitle of the new release implied, it was but the first of a two-part project, withHistory Repeating: Redset to arrive in the near future.
Just in time for Christmas, The Megas are offering a new single fromRed: an arrangement of the stage select theme entitled “Fly on a Dog.” But that’s not all! The single comes bundled with a number of B-side tracks that won’t be available on the full album. There is remix of “Fly on a Dog,” a cover of Real Life’s “Send Me an Angel” from the movieThe Wizard, an instrumental based onMM2‘s password theme, and my personal favorite, a cover of theGERMAN versionof theMega Mancartoon theme!
