After getting one of those stellar tips from Joe Burling thatEntertainment Tonightwould have the world premiere of the latestStar Wars: Force Unleashedon their show this evening, I was beyond stoked. Since I couldn’t locate an embed code from ET to use here, you’re going to have to settle for a nice link to theofficial site, andYahoo, which has this and more. I could’ve searched around on YouTube for one, but the thought of having Lucas dispatch a group of guys in dark glasses and suits at my door unannounced is quite the deterrence.

For the small minority of readers out there who don’t already know this, the game takes place betweenEpisode III: Revenge of the SithandEpisode IV: A New Hope. Players will help Darth Vader in his quest to eliminate the Jedi from the universe and possibly change the course of history.

If you are not totally blown away by what you see, and stare at your screen in total awe, then I don’t know what else to say. The trailer looks beautiful, and Vader’s apprentice never looked moreevilpowerful. Heck, nobody in the Star Wars universe (to my knowledge) has ever pulled off some of the stuff we’ve witnessed in this  two-minute trailer. And for the record, I don’t care about that scene with Yoda and the X-wing back on Dagobah. Call me back when you see him stop a Star Destroyer, just inches from his face. Anyway, that Spring 2008 release date is getting much harder to wait for, with each passing bit of news we get.
