Like many other loot-based games,The First Descendanthas already experienced its fair share of infinite loot farming locations. Intentional or not, the developer is now taking steps to fix one such location, but it is choosing to do it in the best way possible.

A hotfix will buff all other farms, not nerf the infinite one

A recently discovered loot farming location inThe First Descendantis capable of an unlimited output of loot. Called ‘The Valby Run’ by the community, the Strategic Outpost location within the Fortress can respawn enemy mobs infinitely. As a result, it’s capable of offering item drops at around a 2-3 times higher rate than other locations, according to the developer.

Since this was completely unintentional and because we’re so used to it with other loot-based games, everyone expected this to get patched out sooner than later. Instead, the Director, Minseok Joo has announced Patch 1.0.4. Instead of removing the incredibly high efficiency of loot within this mission, all other Strategic Outpost locations will now match the efficiency.
