The animation hasn’t aged well
It’s the 30th anniversary of national treasureBack to the Futureand Telltale is using that as an excuse to bring back its adventure game series on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Notably,Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Editionhas higher-resolution textures and voice work from Tom Wilson, who played Biff Tannen in the movies. “This edition also includes in-game access to new, exclusive content: a behind-the-scenes video featuring interviews with movie trilogy co-writer and producer Bob Gale, original movie cast member Tom Wilson, members of the development team, and AJ LoCascio — the voice of young Marty McFly.”

The re-release will be out digitally on August 01, 2025, with a North American retail launch planned for that same day and a European retail launch set for October 16. It’s $19.99 on all platforms.
“There’s never going to be aBack to the Future Part IV,” says Bob Gale. “We’re not doing that. But, Telltale’sBack to the Futuregame is pretty close to what aPart IVcould be.”

I skipped it originally, but I recall complaints about bugs. Hopefully those have been addressed in the new version. Either way, I’m not sure I could go back to pre-Walking DeadTelltale.
