New characters, items, and stages
Tekken 7: Fated Retributionhas just been announced at The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015’s grand finals.
Fated Retributionwill be released first in arcades, and will include new characters, outfits, items and stages. That all sounds pretty cool but still fairly standard for an updated version of a fighting game. Butthenyou find out who the first new character is, and things get a bit interesting.
Up top you can see the trailer shown at the tournament, and it confirms thatStreet Fighter’svery own Akuma will be entering the fray. Considering he isn’t inStreet Fighter V, his presence inTekkenis exciting. MaybeTekken X Street Fighterisn’t that far off now?
We currently don’t know the launch date forFated Retribution. There’s also no confirmation about whether it will ever find its way to consoles, but I’d be very surprised if it didn’t. I suppose we’ll be hearing a lot more about it very soon!
