During today’s Nintendo Direct, we got to take a look at the first new characters announced for the upcomingSuper Smash Bros.Ultimatefor Nintendo Switch.
Both Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl fromSplatoonmake their Smash debut, bringing their personal brand of colourful mayhem to battle. The Squid Kids form part of the new game’s insane roster, which features every singleSmashcontender to date.
The wall-staining trouble-makers can use their ink weapons to allow for higher damage on their opposition, and will be selectable in a whopping eight different designs, all with their own individual ink colours. Even Callie and Marie, the Squid Sisters, will appear on theirSplatoonthemed stage to lend a helping hand.
