Sexy time!

Gaming’s official belly dancer,Shantae, has made quite the name for herself over the last decade. Beginning as a late era Game Boy Color title, the series has spawned several sequels on various platforms and garnered a cult following. The latest game in the series,Half-Genie Hero, actually wound up seeing a physical release on the Wii U, of all consoles, so it comes as no surprise that the Switch would be receiving the same thing.

If you’ve held out, then your time has come. XSEED Games has announced thatShantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Editionwill be heading to retail outlets soon. Included with this package will be the expansion,Pirate Queen’s Quest, and a couple of extras in the form of “Costume Mode” and “Friend’s Mode.” While those last two seem like superfluous extras, bonus goodies is always appreciated.

There isn’t any pricing mentioned, but I can’t see it being more than $30. You can nab the download for $20 from the eShop and I doubt the Switch tax will account for a dramatic increase in price.
