Sonyassertsthe PlayStation Network should steadily be coming back online. The announcement follows a two-day outage reportedly spurred by denial-of-service attacks.

Destructoid’s attempts to connect to the network today via PS4, PS3, and Vita have thus far proved unsuccessful. Meanwhile,PlayStation Supporthas shown network connectivity fluctuating between “intermittently available” and “offline.” Sony promises updates on the situation as soon as information becomes available.
We’re aware that some users are experiencing sign-in issues on PS4 and PS3; engineers are investigating the cause.

Xbox Live managed to restore service yesterday after sustaining similar complications over the past couple days. Microsoft’s network appears to be“up and running”at the time of writing.
