Maybe you can only die once

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twiceis a weird one. From Software has built up their Dark Souls cachet so much that people are basically expecting more Souls out of them when it comes to releasing anything action related. Me? I’ve secretly been waiting for moreTenchufollow-ups in the same vein asShinobidoandTwin Souls. My expectations are in check.

This new trailer from TGS also does a great job of assuaging any fears I have. It’s only a couple of minutes long but it has quite a few cuts, showcasing various in-game locales and most notably: the emphasis on vertical traversal and combat. We see our hero gleefully zipping around, killing people on rafters, and even wall-jumping. Yes! There’s both an English and Japanese version below.
