Local news is really funny. As I was watchingHeroestonight (Hiro’s “key” is WIN), my local NBC affiliate news had a promo for what we could expect to see on tonight’s program. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet because it’s only about 9:30 here, but I’m so tuning in. Apparently, scientists are warning that hamsters may be dangerous pets for children to have.
Okay, the Dow Jones Industrial dropped another 350 points today, we’re in the middle of an election and my local news is warning me about the risks of children and hamsters. If that isn’t a misplaced set of priorities, I don’t know what is.
