That was fun while it lasted
While the kinds of creative streaming shows folks have been putting on with the PlayStation 4 appThe Playroomsound like good fun to me — the oneswithoutdudes showing their junk, that is — they rather predictablyaren’t all gaming-focusedand that’s led to Twitch taking action.
“We removedPlayroomcontent from the directory because a majority of it was non-gaming related,” a Twitch representative toldJoystiq. “We will look into adding it back as PS4 owners become more familiar with the games-only focus of Twitch content. In the meantime, you may view all of the amazing gameplay from PS4 broadcasters inthisdirectory page on Twitch.”
That didn’t take long at all. I do hope Twitch eventually brings it back, though I suspect many of the offenders are fully aware of the site’s “games-only focus” already.
