Batman fans out there might already be itching for a follow-up to the “beautifully bleak”Arkham City, but Warner Brothers has another game based off the DC Comics franchise coming down the pipeline this winter — the ever so strange looking first-person shooter,Gotham City Impostors. While we’ve previously had a look at the upcoming downloadable’smultiplayer, this new trailer illustrates the game’s premise with some comic book-style animation. Unlike a traditional superhero title, there isn’t a singular hero or villain inImpostors....

If you know yourGrowlanserand its artist, Satoshi Urushihara, you know about the boob shine. In fact, all skin is glossy in this series of RPGs, as are the eyes, clothing and accessories. The shiny fourth game in the series is on its way to the PSP, thanks to Atlus. They’ve released some new screenshots today, so get out your sunglasses. It does have adorable drawings done byTaiko Drum MasterartistYukiko Yokoo. According to Siliconera, some of the drawing captions include, “I don’t really know any details…,” “definitely soon…,” and “It’s not done yet, so running away!” Hana Kikuchi, who wrote forNierandDrakengard 3, is also listed on the staff page....

Whether due to technical hurdles like online services shutting down, high skill-based challenges, or time-consuming requirements, achieving 100 percent completion in certain games isn’t realistic even for the most dedicated players. [People keep telling me to share my arrangements, so I am! -D] Did you play Freebird Games’ indie RPGTo The Moon? If you haven’t, you’re missing something great. It looks like an old 16-bit RPG, but the story is beautiful and surprising. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Also beautiful is the game’s soundtrack, especially the vocal piece “Everything’s Alright,” by composer Laura Shigihara (Plants vs. Zombies). I was instantly hooked from the first listen, and knew that I would eventually cover it....

Retro City Rampagewill support cross-play between the PS3 and PlayStation Vita versions, which is certainly neat. Even neater, however, is the fact that when you buy it on one platform, you’ll get it on the other. One payment, both versions. Double neat! The news comes by way ofIndieGames.com, where a number of developers, such as Clever Beans’ Martin Turton, espoused the benefits of the “pay once” cross-play deal. “We think that the appeal of the ‘buy-once’ deal, which should hopefully attract more people to buy the game, far outweighs any extra sales we might get from people who are prepared to buy the game twice,” Said Turton, “especially considering that requiring two separate purchases would be likely to cause a fair backlash....
