Thing is,Cruelty Squad‘s getting an Early Access sequel, and it’s even weirder. PuttingCruelty Squadinto sensible terms is impossible. It’s an objectively ugly game. Often disturbing on a level that’s hard to put into words, it’s a celebration of all the mechanics of a true Immersive Sim, albeit one that’s actively hostile to the player on every single conceivable level....

Let’s rage…about the fact that we never got this. Theatrhythm Final Fantasyis one of my favoriteFinal Fantasygames. I frankly only really enjoy two or three games in the series, so the best part for me is the music. I can’t think of a single game in the series that doesn’t have at least a few fabulous tracks in varying styles. So to have an experience where I just sit back, enjoy the music, look at some nice graphics and hit some buttons to the beat was perfect....
June 17 Back in January of this year, Game Freak pulled back the curtain on thePokemon Sword and Shieldexpansion pass. Basically, you fork over $30, and you get two DLC packs: one in “June” (Isle of Armor) and the other “later this year” (The Crown Tundra). For the first time since then, they’re giving us more info this morning. New footage was revealed for both expansions in the video below, which showcase the return of some classic Pokemon, as well as a look at some of the expanded zones....
As I’ve said in the past, Archie’sMega Mancomic line is pretty phenomenal. It manages to deliver interesting storylines as well as flesh out a few popular characters, all the while appealing to adults. Sadly, that series is coming to an end soon with an indefinite hiatus, and the last issue has been delayed until December 2. I was looking forward toMega Man#55, mostly as a fan of Bass, but it looks like I’ll have to wait....
My advice: jump aboard Anno 1800 It’s rare for me to buy games through the Ubisoft Store, but I’ll at least take a glance whenever there’s a seasonal promo. Right now through July 8,Ubisoft is hosting a summer sale with PC game deals. This is my opportunity to tell you thatAnno 1800is worth a lookif you’re partial to city-builders.
