Back in February, the internet was graced with the worldwide viral sensation which was a disastrous Willy Wonka themed event. Now, almost six months later, the curse of doomed conventions has struck again, this time with aPokémonconvention in the Philippines. Unlike the dodgyWilly Wonka eventwhich happened in Glasgow, Scotland, the attendees at thePokéverse PHconvention at least had the sunshine on their side, but that did nothing to detract from a lack of convention activities, ticket issuing nightmares, and strange partnerships....

Bungie released some photos of a Halo-lined hallway, making specific effort to shoot the above. I do believe those areHalo: ReachLegendary Edition boxes. I am basing this assumption on the text clearly printed on said boxes. Looks pretty big. It’s a good thing they included the other two photos so you may get some sense of scale, but it’s still pretty hard to say exactly how massive the Legendary Edition box is going to be....

Those purveyors of retro re-releases Hamster Corporation has revealed four more titles headed to modern platforms over the coming weeks and months. Clearly the publisher has plans to continue bolstering its Arcade Archive range well into the new year and beyond. The four classic arcades preparing themselves for launch include Taito’s cute top-down shooterKiKi KaiKai(which would becomePocky & Rockyin its following years). Following the somewhat, erm,malignedbalance patch, manyHelldivers 2players have bemoaned the nerfing ofthe beloved Railgun. But with the nerfs came buffs, andHelldivers 2players may want to consider trying a Flamethrower for the infamous Charger. It’s almost ready to fill the void. Almost. That’s not to say the patch nerfed the Railgun into the dirt, but the change did encourage me to start experimenting with other weapons like the Flamethrower.
