Once Humanhas a pretty big world to get around, and hoofing it might get a bit tiresome. Thankfully, you may get a motorcycle pretty early, and here’s how to do it.
Where to get a motorcycle in Once Human
There are actually two ways to get the motorcycle in theearly stagesofOnce Human. The first is byfollowing the main quest path. You’ll eventually meet Mary, who will meet you in Deadsville. After learning more of the ropes, she’ll send you off to activate Rift Anchors. In order to speed things up, she’ll give you her motorcycle, no strings attached.
However, if you want something more personalized or just want to avoid doing the main quest,you can build one yourself. To do so, you must first unlock the Garage Memetic. Go to the Memetics window, and if you have enough Meme Points, you can spend them on the Garage node under the Building tab. It’s in the first tier of unlocks.
Once you have the garage, you’ll still need to build a bike, and that requires first creating four parts for it: the Metal Frame, the Old Engine, the Bald Tire, and the Scrap Fuel Tank. Each takes quite a few resources, so you won’t be able to build this after you’ve done enough scavenging and fed the disassembly machine to break things down. Once those parts are built, you can then construct the motorcycle.
Regardless of where you got your motorcycle, in order to ride it, you must first summon it. Press the (default) G key. Move your cursor to where you want the bike and click. That will summon it. Then just press F to get on and ride it.
How to repair your motorcycle in Once Human
To repair the motorcycle inOnce Human, you will need tobuild a garage, if you didn’t in the first step.
Once you have a garage in your territory, you can fix your bike by interacting with the Garage Console. This isn’t on the hydraulic lift itself, it’s actually a standing computer terminal in front of it.
If you have more than one vehicle, you’re able to press X to change to a different one. Once the one in need of repairs is displayed, the default key to move to the repair menu is G. You’ll be shown a display of what parts you need to repair the vehicle. Hold F to confirm and your bike will be road worth again.
How to refuel your motorcycle in Once Human
Refueling your Motorcycle inOnce Humandoesn’t require a garage. Simply summon your motorcycle,walk up to it, and press G. You’ll be given a list of available fuel and can fill up from those.
You mainly get fuel from looting. In particular, check the trunks of abandoned vehicles. You can also build a refinery at your base, but that refines weaker fuel types into stronger ones. Fuel is also often given out as rewards for various events.
However, if you’re in a bind, your best bet is to just search car trunks.
