Nintendo has sent over word to Destructoid that three games have been confirmed from the mind of Shigeru Miyamoto —Star Fox,Project Giant Robot, andProject Guard.
All of these will be on the Wii U, and forStar Fox, the GamePad will show the view of Fox McCloud’s Arwing. The TV shows the perspective behind your ship, and you can use the gyro sensors from the GamePad to target enemies. You can also switch between the Arwing and the Landmaster tank instantly, as well as a new helicopter vehicle. It’s slated for 2015.
Project Giant Robotturns the GamePad into a factory, where you can build your own creation. From there, the GamePad becomes a cockpit, where you can control your robot and fight other creations. It’s also coming in 2015.
Guardinvolves stopping a robot invasion, tasking you to set security cameras around a special perimeter, then monitor them to shoot lasers and blast the invaders — this is another 2015 release.
