Promises up to eight hours of use
Nintendo’s high-capacity battery for the Wii U GamePad has been available in other regions, but it’s only now being sold to gamers in the United states.
Priced at $32 (shipping not included), this 2550mAh battery is said to provide eight hours of use, up from the standard GamePad battery’s promise of three to five hours. I’ve always found it to be closer to three than five in practice which isjustlow enough to be a regular nuisance.
