Tribute Games, developer ofMercenary KingsandCurses ‘n Chaos, is set to releaseNinja Senki DXon PS4, PS Vita, and Steam in February.
Ninja Senki DXis an updated version of the freeware game from 2010 created by Jonathan Lavigne, co-founder of Tribute Games. The freeware version iscurrently still available to downloadfor PC, and I highly recommend checking it out! It’s a fun NES-style action platformer starring a ninja who chucks an endless supply of shurikens the size of his body at his enemies. It’s challenging, but the charming pixel graphics and music help to alleviate frustration.
The updated version will feature multiple endings, a new challenge mode, a remixed soundtrack, unlockable secret modes, leaderboards, and achievements. It’ll run you $4.99, and supports cross-buy for PS4 and PS Vita.
