If you head over toNexus Mods, you’ll see that the site has now opened up its modding section for the game. Obviously, there’s nothing there yet (save for some artwork), but it’s pretty obvious, given the amount ofElder ScrollsandFalloutmods that are forever coming out, that a lot of people are going to be tweakingStarfieldthe picosecond it comes out.

Starfield: a spaceship fighting with another ship just above a planet.

Just imagine the possibilities. There’s no end to the potential when it comes to modifying AAA games, and Nexus is one of the most popular places to showcase such projects.

And the winner is…

On top of that, the modding website is also hosting a competition, with a chance to win a copy ofStarfieldand some other goodies. For example, they’re giving away a TUF Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card, a B650-Plus motherboard, some peripherals, and some merchandise.

If you want in on this, you just have to head to thecompetition pageand follow the instructions. The event goes on until August 29, and winners will be selected at random and contacted by Nexus Mods.
