In a previousRumortoid, we told you thatLegacy of Ys: Books 1 & 2might be coming to the US by way of Atlus. The last time our region saw this game was way back in the day on theTurboGrafx 16.They’ve since confirmed this new version, and now Atlus sends along more details and a few images.
Completely remade for Nintendo DS,Books 1 & 2were released seperately in Japan. Atlus says that they worked with the developer to get them both on one cartridge for the North American release. If that wasn’t enough, stack on top of that a totally new localization:

This mega-dose of retro action RPG will be released on Feburary 3, 2009, for $34.99.
