Those who missed thePlunderstormgame mode earlier this year will be happy to know that September’s Trading Post is bringing back some favorite designs. And for those who did collect everything, you may be interested in the new colors of these items! And everybody will want this new treasure-coated mount.
For completing your Traveler’s Log in September, you’ll receive the Plunderlord’s Golden Crocolisk. This beastly ground mount is gleaming with fanciful armor, a gilded collar, and various plundered treasures. It’s the perfect ride for all who approve of life on the high seas. And all you have to do is complete your Adventure Journal for the month. With a brand new expansion on hand, there should be more than enough for you to do to complete that quickly.

The Trading Post isWorld of Warcraft‘s Battle Pass, kind of
For those of you who might just be returning forThe War Within, The Trading Post is a free monthly activity that’s not terribly dissimilar from a Battle Pass. It’s accessible via the Adventure Journal (CTRL+J), and participating earns points. Fill the progress bar by the end of the month, and you’ll earn a unique reward along with Traders Tender.
The Trading Post and a treasure chest are in your capital city. You get 500 Trader’s Tender immediately each month and the opportunity to earn another 500 through the Adventure Journal. There’s sometimes an extra way to earn more Tender, like pre-ordering the Epic Edition ofThe War Within. As a new month starts, these items rotate out for a new list. You have the opportunity to freeze one item you’re able to’t afford and hold it between months. But if you miss out on something else you wanted, don’t stress! Most items return at some point.

WoW‘s Trading Post adds a buffet of pirate-themed gear
The main focus of this month is recolors of the Plunderlord gear originally obtained during the Plunderstorm event. The regal red and gold have been swapped for a trendy yellow and teal. It might not be to everyone’s fancy, but it’s certainly worth a glimpse.
Outside of that, there isn’t a whole lot in the way of pets and mounts. One cute crab pet named Claudius and a recolor of the Plunderlord’s Golden Crocolisk. And that’s it; everything else is clothes and weapons.

As for activities in September, you shouldn’t be hurting for things to do. The start of the month sees the return of The Darkmoon Faire, a fun event where players can participate in a spooky carnival full of rides and games. Other than that, the new expansion means you’ll have plenty of regular quests, new professions to level, and fresh dungeons to crawl. The new Delves also provide progression on your adventure journal, so don’t forget to hit those up!
