Developer Bearded Ladies has ambushed us with a stealth launch of its newest game.Corruption 2029is another tactical strategy game, seemingly in the same vein asMutant Year Zero. This one has more of a sci-fi bent with an aesthetic that leans intoDestiny-looking characters.
Here’s how Bearded Ladies describes it: “Taking place in the not-so-distant future,Corruption 2029will have players command a squad of heavily augmented soldiers on a deadly mission to infiltrate an inhuman regime and discover the cause of an ominous corruption that turned America into an war-torn wasteland.” Additionally, the developer says that violence isn’t always necessary, and some situations lend themselves best to alternate approaches.
Intriguing, and we don’t have to wait long to see ifCorruption 2029makes good on it all. It’s launching in a mere week-and-a-half on February 17. It’s anEpic Games Storeexclusive, and it’ll only run $20.
