It’s good to eat!

It seems like only an hour ago that I talking about how cool it would be to play a game featuringFran Krause’s reinterpretation ofPokemon. Well, what do you know, there’s already something like that. The designs aren’t by Krause, but they share a similar sensibility, and work wonders to scratch my itch for cute and weird 2D monsters.

The game is currently inKickstarter mode, and it’s already brought in a fair amount of dough. With music by Disasterpeace ofFezandKrunchfame, it’s sure to get it’s fair share of supporters. They’ve also done a great job with the backer’s rewards. I could see those shirts selling for $25 at Urban Outfitters.

Most importantly, the game looks really nice, like 2DZeldamixed withAdventure’s of Lolo, all served up inDomo-flavored sugar sauce. Sounds like a great thing for fun-havers.
