[Update: Inti Creates mistakenly reported that theMighty Gunvoltupdate and DLC will both be available on November 28, alongside the release of the game for direct purchase. It has since offered a correction, stating that the both the DLC and the update will be released “soon.” I’m guessing that means sometime after November 28. We’ll see soon enough.]
Mighty Gunvoltwas a pretty amazing extra on top ofAzure Striker Gunvolt, but the promotional offer for the free game is coming to an end. On November 28Mightywill go standalone, priced at $3.99 on the 3DS eShop. It’s still worth picking up at that price.
At that time, a 2.0 update will drop that fixes a few issues, and grants buffs for the Gunvolt and Ekoro characters. Following that a DLC pack will drop for $2.99, and will include four brand new stages, as well as four bosses — two of which are fromMighty No. 9.
This just became one of my most anticipated releases in December!
