Sort of….
Capcom is keeping the tradition of goofy and referential costumes going strong inDead Rising. With homages to many different movies and Capcom games in the past, this series knows how to hit all the right notes with fans. And now,Dead Rising 3takes things even further by bringing back a long-neglected, but still loved character.
Just like the previousDead Risingtitles, players can collect pieces of Mega Man’s suit to complete the set and, this time, acquire a working X-Buster, for whatever inexplicable reason. With it, you can mow down zombies with your rapid-fire cannon, or take out a whole group with the charged blast. Why, you ask? The real question is why the hell not?
So what do you think,Mega Manfans? Is this a wonderful reference? Or maybe it’s stilla bit too soon. Regardless, good ol’ Rick looks pretty sharp in X’s suit.
