The modern military shooter might be as hackneyed as one’s set during World War II once were, but I’ve found myself oddly excited for the follow-up to Electronic Arts’ 2010 series reboot. Something aboutMedal of Honor‘s authenticity and solemn storyline struck a chord with me. And while many found the campaign to be overly brief, like an arcade game easily completed in a short period of time, it’s something I’ve found myself returning to often.

So yeah, here’s a video forMedal of Honor: Warfighterthat aired during the Champions League final. I’m going to hold out hope that it goes more in the direction of its predecessor and veers away from the set-pieces and explosions ofCall of Duty. But, after watching this I think I’m setting myself up for disapoitnment. Sigh… Look for it in October on the usual platforms.
