Here’s a little bit of Tuesday morning intrigue for you — Anumberofsiteshave posted an announcement that the Xbox 360’s Fall Update is bringing with it a Virtual Console of sorts — allowing you to download original Xbox games via Xbox Live. However, the CVG article which is said to be the source has been removed.
If true, the first titles available on the new Xbox download service will beHalo,Fahrenheit,Fable,Crimson Skies,Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of CortexandBurnout 3and will be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points. Not too shabby, though I could pick up a real copy ofHalofor four queenquids pretty easily.

Other news includes European accounts having access, at last, to a Video Marketplace. Good news for people who don’t know what torrenting is. It’s basically a rental service in which customers have to watch the video within 24 days before access is removed. A solid start date for this service has not been confirmed.
The Fall Update itself is coming on December 4th, and could be very exciting indeed if all this hullabaloo is to be believed.
