Yet another ‘have never seen this’ moment
Typically with games writing you’ll see a lot of hyperbole: but withZelda: Breath of the Wild, at least as far as I’m concerned,it’s the real deal. Take theseBreath of the Wildrain effects!
Puddles inBreath of the Wildare reactive, in that little areas can fill up with water, then dry over time. A few folks have shared their stories, like using this concept to wait for an area to hold water, then proceed to useCryonisto get an out-of-reach chest.

The“Days without Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 News” Twitter accountshowcases this wonderfully, with a time-lapsed set of images.I tracked down the source, and it’s another one of those “a lot of people must have seen it, but I know a lot of others haven’t, either.”Clearlythe latter category isn’t alone, as the post, which was createdjust a few days agoreached roughly 15,000 likes very quickly.
Well, if you like watching paint dry, it’s something else to dowhile we wait for the sequel! Speaking of, the sequel has a lot to live up to, and I don’t envy the developers. Not only are people going to want improvements to mechanical elements from the original, if the enginedoesn’tdo stuff like the aforementionedBreath of the Wildrain effect, there will be direct comparisons.

Did you know that after a rain in botw, the water slowly dries out?
