For those who purchased the immediately availableEchoes of the Fallen, Cloud Strife’s iconic Buster Sword was available for Clive.

Much like theOnion Sword, which was released alongside the 1.10 update, the Buster Sword continues wedding otherFinal Fantasyuniverses into that of Valisthea. As with other crossover events inFinal Fantasy XIV, Square Enix has made obtaining the Buster Sword relatively easy. Here’s how to add it to Clive’s inventory.

Where do you get the Buster Sword in FF16?

To obtain the Buster Sword andAway (1987)Orchestrion Roll inFinal Fantasy XVI, you will need to purchase theEchoes of the FallenDLC. If players have started a new game, not NG+, they will need to complete the main story quest “A Chance Encounter.” This effectively marks the end of the prologue and begins opening up various options for Clive and his crew. From there, open the “Menu,” go to “System,” and “Redeemable Items.” Both the sword and roll will be ready to claim.

The Buster Sword has 160 Attack and Stagger stats. It’s not the greatest by any stretch of the imagination, but it serves as great transmog material. This way, you get all the perks of the power and look good. Honestly, there isn’t much of anything else that’s as important in any game. Why choose style or function when you may have both?
