If you’re hoping to completeall of the collections of the MuseuminFields of Mistria, you’re going to have to find a lot of items. For the fish wing, these items are (unsurprisingly) fish, and they all have their own requirements which must be fulfilled in order to catch them.

Some fish are harder to catch then others, and those insidethe Minescan prove to be particularly evasive. Thankfully, there are few things you’re able to do to improve your chances of finding them all, including the Stone Loach.

How to catch a Stone Loach in Fields of Mistria

The Stone Loach is a fish which can be located in the Upper Mines (Floors 1 – 20). If you’re looking for a Stone Loach, you’ll need to find a medium sized shadow, but sometimes it just isn’t that simple, and even the basic layout of the Mines themselves can make things complicated.

There are limited water pools within the Mines, especially on the first 20 Floors, and they’re all relatively small. Fish within these pools can often disappear under the cavern walls, and this makes it difficult to attract them to your bobber.

Outside of handing a Stone Loach into the Museum to complete the Upper Mines Fish Set collection, you’ll also need one to complete the main story quest “The Water Tablet” andunlock the Water Seal. This will allow you to descend further into the mines, unlocking Tide Caverns.
