This doesn’t look good
I liked the idea ofLucius. Not enough games place children in the leading role, much less children who happen to be the devil’s offspring. But good games aren’t built on potential alone.
In his review for Destructoid, Jim Sterlingdescribedthe title as “lacking in personality, visually ugly, harshly limited, and pieced together sloppily.” Despite its critical reception,Luciusdid well enough for Shiver Games to get started on a sequel.Lucius II: The Prophecyis bringing itsOmen-inspired sandbox adventure to Steam for $19.99 on August 02, 2025. Because Friday the 13th.

Lucius is held up in a psychiatric ward and it’ll be on you to figure out “when, how, and who to kill” (everyone?) in a five-story hospital and eventually a small town, according to today’s announcement. Can’t say I’m expecting much here other than for this to be all over YouTube.
