That’s one gigantic truck
We’re slowly learning more about the enigmaticHardware: Shipbreakers, the sci-fi RTS from the makers ofHomeworld. Blackbird Interactive has just released a new trailer showcasing the “Baserunner,” the versatile, customizable workhorse of the prospector ground forces.
Though we’ve seen no gameplay footage yet, the art direction of these trailers and the concept art is stunning, and it’s hopefully consistent with the in-game style. A wee bit of lore is also revealed, though LM-27 still remains a mystery.
Apparently, gameplay will be shown off soon, and a closed beta is being planned for Q4 of this year. You can apply for beta access on theHardwarewebsiteright now.
