It’s so good, you guys!

Well, it’s finally here guys. The first episode of the localizedPokemon Originswent live this past Friday, the second went live today, and it’s all free to watch onPokemon TV. If you’re not up to speed,Originsis an anime completely separate from the main one as it’s a retelling ofPokemon Red/Blue. In fact, itcompletelyfollows the games to the point that each episode starts and ends with loading and saving, respectively. Those kinds of details don’t stop there. It’s super awesome.

The English voice talent does a pretty good job, but I’ve never been one to be picky about dubs or localization jobs or anything. I will say Professor Oak’s actor isn’t how I exactly imagined him sounding, but I can forgive it. Oh, and that awful clip ofCharmander screamingbloody f**king murderwas censored for the US version. Let’s all be happy about that.
