What a nerd
Nintendo’s fantasy RPGFire Emblem: Three Houseshas managed to hold fort for a second week at the top of the UK Charts, with the various high-class educational institutes fending off advances from some of the UK’s biggest physical sellers.
Bethesda’ sisterly shooterWolfenstein: Youngbloodhas slipped from second place to ninth, whilst Activision’sCrash Team Racing Nitro-Fueledsits pretty at number three. Electronic Arts’ latest entry in the never-endingMaddenseries secured a decent debut for UK shores, breaking in at number five, while their soccer releaseFIFA 19onceagainmakes a play for the top, climbing back to number two.

Elsewhere in the charts,Super Smash Bros. Ultimatemanaged to squeeze its way back into the Top Ten, while fellow Switch titleMarvel Ultimate Alliance 3may have had its moment of glory, dropping from number six to number 18. Overall, it’s been a fairly meandering summer for physical sales, with most titles merely jockeying for position, rather than holding particular periods of dominance. It will be interesting to see if the events of Evo 2019 cause a burst of popularity for fighters over the next week.
