So you’ve unlockedFinal Fantasy XIV‘s Gold Saucer and suddenly find yourself wondering where you’re supposed to begin compiling your piles of MGP. One thing you definitely shouldn’t overlook is the weekly Fashion Report.
What is the Fashion Report?
In a nutshell, the Fashion Report is an opportunity for you to win prizes every week simply bydressing up in the most hideous glamors that you’re likely to ever see. You get set a theme, given clues and are left to figure out what you’re supposed to wear to score points and win prizes.
There are also three “You Look Marvellous” achievements up for grabs; one each for getting 80, 90 or 100 points.
How to unlock Fashion Report
Unlocking the Fashion Report involves only one step. While in the Gold Saucer, findLewena (X4.8 Y6.1)and pick up the quest called “Passion for Fashion”. She’ll quickly send you to another NPC,Masked Rose (X7.2 Y7.4). Talk to him and the quest will be complete.
Congratulations, you now have access to the best MGP-making method in the game! I told you it was easy.
Weekly Fashion Report reset
Talking toMasked Rose on a Tuesdaywill provide you with a set of clues to follow to figure out what you should wear for that week’s Fashion Report. Thankfully,judging doesn’t begin until Friday and runs until the new theme is released the following Tuesday. Here’s the exact time for the reset every week:
How to score 100 points every week
Thankfully, for those of us who are less able to decipher the very vague clues given by Masked Rose, there are some wonderful members of theFFXIVcommunity who provide foolproof guides for scoring a guaranteed 100 points every week.
