Series now has the ‘recognition it deserves’
The future of theFar Cryfranchise is looking bright. We know that Ubisoft has another full game “cooking” and based on strong sales forFar Cry 3: Blood Dragon, it seems entirely possible that the company willcontinue on that pathas well.
“We’re totally psyched from [Far Cry 3],” Ubisoft senior VP of marketing and sales Tony Key tellsGameSpot. “It’s a great brand, and now it’s got the recognition it deserves, so we’re clearly going to make another one: more on that soon.”
Where would you want the next one to be set? I could go for Africa again, honestly. I’m one ofthose peoplewho genuinely enjoyed whatFar Cry 2was going for despite its glaring faults.
