Dtoid Designs is back for the threequel and this time, it’s personal. Originally for the third month of the contest I was going to go with a festive theme that celebrated the holidays. But then I remembered thatStar Wars: The Force Awakenscomes out this month… andThe Hateful Eight… andKrampusandConcussionandJoyandThe Revenantand oh yeah, December is a great month for movies. Screw the holidays, let’s celebrate the silver screen!
For December, in honor of all the great awards-bait movies coming out this month, I’m issuing the Mario at the Movies challenge. Your objective is simple: pay tribute to a movie usingSuper Mario Maker. You can recreate your favorite scene or try to recreate the entire film in a single level. What you create is up to you, just make sure to have fun with it.
