There are tons of hidden secrets that theDress to Impressteam has packed into the Winter Update, from special outfit pieces to uncoverable lore in the Lana story. One that’s capturing the attention of players is the mysterious icy fountain in Chapter Two of the Winter Quest.
What is this ice fountain for? What’s the code you need to enter to unlock its secrets? If you’re looking for answers, you’re in luck. We’ve got everything you need to know about the ice fountain, its code, and what it does.
How to get to the ice fountain in Dress to Impress Winter Quest
The ice fountain can be found in Chapter Two of the Winter Quest, at the end of the level. You’ll first need to unlock Chapter Two by heading through the ice portal in the lobby and then beatingChapter Oneif you haven’t already.
Once you’re in Chapter Two, complete the reindeer race as normal. When it comes time to choose which sleigh to ride in, instead of choosing the sleigh on the far right to take you to Santa Claus, choose the sleigh on the far left instead.
You’ll ride your sleigh directly up to the ice fountain.
Dress to Impress Ice Fountain code
Walk up to the large fountain and choose to interact with it. It will bring up a space for you to enter a secret code. This code is “PALINGENESIA”. Once you’ve entered it, you’ll get a message saying you’ve successfully unlocked it.
Now that you’ve got the code in, there’s no reason you need to remain in Chapter Two. Feel free to exit the chapter and return to the Winter Quest server, back at the main festive village.
Dress to Impress Ice Fountain secret room
Now that you’re back in Winter Town, head back up the steps to the train tracks where you can choose which chapter to play. Instead of getting in one of the train cars, though, you’ll instead turn to your right and keep walking until you see that section on the righthand wall that’s boarded up.
Since you’ve entered the code, you can now enter this region. Just walk up and interact with it.
Behind these planks is a secret, ancient Greece-themed area to explore. You’ll also get a cutscene that begins as soon as you enter, revealing more about the mysterious Lana lore that the game has been building on.
There aren’t any additional clothes or accessories you unlock by finding this secret area, so unfortunately nothing you can use in the main game can be found here. However, this is the only way to experience this cutscene, and it’s a lovely area to relax in.
