Whether you die in Hardcore or simply want to try out another class, chances are you will be looking to level an alt character at some point while playingDiablo 4. Once you’ve completed the story campaign, you unlock a nifty Campaign Skip on future characters. This will let you bypass playing through the story again, allowing you to jump right into leveling your way. While there are many options for leveling new characters, this guide will go over the fastest way to power-level your alts inDiablo 4.
Make sure you have a friend ready to power-level you
Like most forms of power leveling, the fastest way will require a higher-level friend willing to boost you. The higher their level, the quicker they will kill things and the faster you will level up. Ideally, this friend should be at a level where they can complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon to unlockWorld Tier 4. This is typically completed around levels 65-70.

Extra tips for power leveling inDiablo 4
Stay at the dungeon entrance while your friend completes it.Even though you will miss out on the 10% bonus experience for being near a party member, it’s worth passing up. If you follow your friend, you will certainly die, and your friend will have to chase around monsters as they aggro onto you. Don’t worry about loot. All Legendary and Unique equipment that drops will automatically be sent to your Stash in town when you reset the dungeon.
To optimize your power leveling, you want toconsume the proper Elixir depending on which dungeon you are farming. If you are spamming the dungeon we recommend, Blind Burrows, consume the Elixir of Beast-Slaying. This elixir grants 20% bonus damage against beasts, which includes the spiders and maggots that make up most of this dungeon. Furthermore, you get a 5% bonus experience gain which will only increase your leveling speed.
Also, you will want toquickly reset your dungeon after each run. To quickly reset the dungeon, you and your power-leveling friend must leave the party. You should still be at the entrance of the dungeon, so walk out and re-enter the dungeon, which will reset it because it thinks you are now playing solo. Invite your friend to the party, and they will be teleported to the instance beside you!
With all this information, you now know the fastest way to power-level your alts in Diablo 4. It’s very likely that the optimal dungeon to run will change as Blizzard continues to tweak each dungeon. Just make sure the dungeon you choose is quick and has some Elite packs for increased experience.
