It turns out that quite a lot of you were willing to giveDark Soulsa chance. Far more than I would’ve imagined, that’s for certain. According to Namco Bandai, From Software’s challenging action-RPG has sold 1.19 million units in Europe and North America.
If you’re curious about how the game fared in Japan, note that Namco Bandai did not publish the title in that region. Be sure totake a lookat the numbers for the company’s other games, though;Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, for instance, came in at 1.07 million copies sold — and that actually includes Japan.
As much as recentcomments madeabout the upcomingPC versionhave bummed me out, hearing thatDark Soulsperformed so well on consoles is satisfying indeed. More of these games, please!
