Epic Games programmer Keith Newton tells us that his date fell through for the December 9th company holiday party. He decided to make lemonade of this lemon by auctioning off this “date” on eBay, with proceeds going to theChild’s Playcharity.
The auction, titled “Charity dinner with Epic Games programmer! Sunday 12/9,” isn’t open yet, so potential dates may want to check back in after noon tomorrow.
“Hopefully there will be someone who wants to hang out with us for an evening willing to donate to a better cause,” says Newton. “We think this is a fun way to help out children who are going to have to spend Christmas in a hospital this year.”
