Gwent, the in-universe (and real) card game fromThe Witcherseries might be getting a full-on release soon. By way of the EUIPO site we’ve found that CD Projekt Red has trademarked the name “Gwent: The Witcher Card Game,” with a colorful new logo. It could indicate a physical tabletop release, or [more likely] aHearthstone-like PC and mobile game. We’ll probably know more come E3.
My love forThe Witcher 3, much like Jasmine for Aladdin, grew over time. At first I was annoyed by a bunch of issues inWild Hunt, then after they were smoothed out I was wowed byHearts of StoneandBlood and Wine. It had a good run, and even though the trilogy seems done for now, the world will live on!
